Applying a personalized decal to a surface such as a refrigerator using Velcro and white tape is a simple process.
Follow these step-by-step instructions to do it effectively:
Step 1: Clean the surface
Make sure the surface is clean and free from dust, dirt, or any residue. You may wipe it down with a damp cloth or rubbing alcohol to ensure it's clean.
Step 2: Determine where to apply the decal
You can measure and mark the area with a pencil or use painter's tape as a temporary guide.
Step 3: Tape down the middle of the decal
Use white tape to stick the middle of the decal then carefully peel and apply one side of the decal from the middle to the outside.
Step 4: Repeat on the remaining side of the decal
Ensure that both sides of the Velcro align properly.
Step 5: Squeegee firmly
To further secure the decal and make it blend in with the surface, you can use the blue tape firmly to eliminate any air bubbles or wrinkles. Instead of the tape, you can use another flat tool like a credit card or your fingers.
